LIMP BIZKIT Apologize For South African Tour Cancellation, Cite 'Personal Reasons'
April 1, 2004LIMP BIZKIT have apologized for canceling their South African tour and have promised to re-schedule, according to News24.com.
The group have issued a statement, saying: "LIMP BIZKIT are regrettably unable to fulfill their touring obligation to South Africa at this time for undisclosable personal reasons.
"LIMP BIZKIT would like to apologize to their South African fans, 5fm, Edgars and Big Concerts for any, and all inconveniences caused by the cancellation. The band intend to re-schedule the tour."
The tour, which was set to kick off in Cape Town this Sunday, was cancelled late on Wednesday.
The group's agent Rod Macsween told tour promoter Big Concerts that the band travelled back to the US after their European tour and in fact did not perform in Dubai either.
Earlier on Thursday Big Concerts said they intend to sue the band for breach of contract.
